TERMS AND CONDITIONS

BNX Website and Membership Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 12 October 2026

1. About BNX

BNX is operated by Business Knowledge Exchange Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 16486425.

Our registered office is 39 Moulton Chase, Hemsworth, Pontefract, West Yorkshire, WF9 4DU.

In these terms, “BNX”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Business Knowledge Exchange Ltd.

For membership enquiries, cancellations or complaints, email [email protected].

2. What these terms cover

These terms cover use of the BNX website and our Connect and Grow memberships, including the Community Hub, member directory, online meetings and membership resources.

Exhibitor bookings are governed by our separate Expo Terms and Conditions. Any additional terms for other paid services must be provided before purchase.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

3. Using the BNX website

You must use our website lawfully and respect the rights of BNX and other users.

You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access, introduce malicious software, disrupt the website or use information obtained through it for unlawful purposes.

We take reasonable care to keep website information accurate and current. Please contact us if you notice an error.

4. Joining BNX

BNX membership provides access to the benefits described for your chosen membership when you join.

The membership price and recurring payment arrangements will be displayed before you subscribe.

You must provide accurate information and keep your contact and business details up to date.

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure. Please notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

5. Membership payments and renewal

Membership is a rolling monthly subscription.

Payments are collected automatically each month using your chosen payment method unless you cancel your membership.

There is no minimum membership term beyond your current paid billing period, and no minimum cancellation notice period.

If a payment fails, we will notify you and give you a reasonable opportunity to resolve it. We may suspend membership access and benefits while payment remains outstanding.

Cancelling your payment method alone does not notify BNX that you wish to cancel. Please email us to cancel your membership.

6. Cancelling your membership

You can cancel your membership at any time by emailing [email protected]. Please include your name, business name and the email address used for your membership.

Once cancelled, your membership will not renew and no further subscription payments will be taken.

Your membership access and benefits continue until the end of your current paid billing period.

After that date:

• Your access to membership services, the Community Hub and membership-only resources ends.

• Your member directory profile is removed.

• Your entitlement to membership visibility and discounts ends.

• Your permission to use the BNX member badge ends.

Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund for the remaining part of your paid billing period, as your membership continues until that period ends. This does not affect any statutory rights.

Ending membership does not necessarily mean that every record relating to your membership is deleted. We may retain information where required for accounting, legal or other lawful purposes, as explained in our Privacy Policy.

7. Statutory cancellation rights

BNX membership is designed for business use. If you purchase wholly or mainly for purposes outside your trade, business, craft or profession, you may have additional consumer rights.

Where a statutory cooling-off period applies, you may cancel within 14 days of entering the membership contract by emailing [email protected] with a clear statement that you wish to cancel.

Where you expressly request that services begin during that period, the law may permit a proportionate charge for services supplied before cancellation.

Accessing digital content does not automatically remove any statutory cancellation rights. Any necessary consent and acknowledgement must be obtained separately before those rights can be affected.

Nothing in these terms removes your statutory rights.

8. Membership benefits and discounts

Your membership benefits are those described for your chosen membership when you join.

Any booking requirements, eligibility conditions or restrictions applying to a benefit or discount must be explained before you use it.

Membership discounts are available on eligible purchases made while your membership is active. They do not apply to new purchases made after your membership ends.

Partner-provided benefits may be subject to the partner’s own terms and eligibility requirements. Any separate purchase from a partner is a contract with that provider.

BNX provides opportunities to connect, learn and grow. Membership does not guarantee customers, sales, referrals or a particular financial result.

9. Community conduct

Members must treat others respectfully in online meetings, messages and the Community Hub.

You must not share unlawful, discriminatory, threatening, abusive or deliberately misleading material, infringe another person’s rights or send unsolicited bulk promotional messages.

You must respect information shared in confidence and must not disclose another person’s confidential information or personal details without permission or another lawful basis.

Do not assume that an open community discussion is a confidential professional consultation. Consider carefully what sensitive information you share.

10. Recording online meetings

BNX online meetings must not be recorded unless this has been agreed with BNX in advance.

Any agreed recording must respect participants’ privacy and applicable data protection requirements.

11. Member directory and contributed content

You are responsible for the accuracy of your directory listing and any content you submit to BNX.

You must own, or have permission to use, submitted text, photographs, logos and other material.

Submitting material does not transfer ownership to BNX. BNX may use submitted material for the purpose for which you provided it, such as displaying your business details and logo in the member directory.

BNX does not acquire unrestricted permission to use your material for unrelated purposes simply because you have submitted it.

We may remove content that is unlawful, infringes another person’s rights or breaches these terms.

Your member directory profile will be removed when your membership ends. The handling of any personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

12. Knowledge, resources and advice

BNX resources, meetings and community discussions provide business information, shared experience and practical support.

Their suitability depends on your circumstances. Unless expressly agreed otherwise, they do not constitute personalised legal, financial, tax or other regulated professional advice.

Where appropriate, seek advice from a suitably qualified professional before acting.

Members and independent contributors are responsible for their own statements and services. BNX remains responsible for exercising reasonable care and skill in providing its own services.

Access to a resource does not transfer ownership or copyright. You must follow any licence or usage permissions supplied with it. You must not resell or publicly distribute material without permission from the rights holder.

13. BNX content and branding

BNX website content, logos and branding belong to BNX or the relevant rights holder.

You must not copy, alter or commercially use them without permission, except where permitted by law.

Members may use an authorised BNX member badge while their membership is active, in accordance with any instructions supplied.

You must not suggest that BNX endorses your products or services without permission. When your membership ends, you must stop using the member badge.

14. Website and service availability

We will use reasonable care and skill to provide the services included in your membership.

Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, technical faults or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

An interruption or change does not remove any legal rights you may have where a paid service has not been supplied as agreed.

15. Changes to membership or these terms

Any proposed change to your subscription price or material change to your membership benefits will be communicated before it takes effect.

We will explain the change and when it would apply. Changes will not retrospectively alter a paid billing period or an existing booking.

Changes must comply with applicable law and must not remove rights you already have. You may cancel your membership under section 6 if you do not wish to continue.

16. Suspension or termination by BNX

BNX may suspend or end membership where a member seriously or repeatedly breaches these terms, including through unlawful conduct, harassment or deliberate misuse of BNX services.

Any action must be proportionate to the circumstances. Immediate suspension may be necessary to protect other users or address a security risk.

Any entitlement to a refund or other remedy will be determined by the circumstances and applicable law. This section does not remove statutory rights.

17. Responsibility and liability

BNX will provide its services with reasonable care and skill.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, BNX is not a party to contracts you enter into with other members, partners or independent providers.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights or remedies.

18. Privacy and use of contact details

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Membership does not give you permission to add other members or website users to marketing lists.

Anyone using contact details obtained through the directory, meetings or Community Hub must comply with applicable privacy and marketing laws.

19. Complaints

If you have a complaint, email [email protected]. Please explain what happened and the outcome you are seeking.

We will consider your complaint and respond within a reasonable time.

20. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Business disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.

Consumers retain any mandatory rights to bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the UK where they live.
